Hey-did you pinch my recipe?

I use cider vinegar, a little butter and brown sugar, and raisins sometimes if I don't have an apple.

Made some yummy cheese scones the other night and have to make more tonight because we ate them already--Blu, I'll send you a picture--lovely fluffy, cheesy scones!

Yes Lois does cook occasionally!

Especially when it involves cheese--and because Wisconsin is famous for cheddar, I'll send Blu the recipe too.

Hugs
Lois

Also can be pickled--use the same brine as you would for pickled beets and pack jars to 1/2 inch headspace with RAW cabbage shredded fine, pour on hot brine, use a knife to remove air bubbles, put on hot prepared lids and cap tightly--they should self seal :)
