I have always been somewhat enarmoured by this small liveaboard scow, by William Garden.

Nice ... Decent trailerable size ... wonder how it would work without rigging and with an outboard or two ... ?

This would be a better design for outboard use. It is the 17'6" X 7'10" Super Brick, by Phil Bolger.

Or if you want to get more extravagant you could go with Phil Bolgers, 22'6" X 8' Water Van.

There are so many very cool boat designs out there - I want to build about 175 different ones I have seen over the years....

Hi Stuart

So impressed with "Oyster" I have contacted Mystic Seaport to purchase plans. - Should have hardcopies within a month.

Now to find a shed to rent not too far north of Auckland.

Cheers: Sea Gypsy

P.S. Saw "Oyster' 1st, here on Nomadicista !!!

I'll admit to not knowing the first thing about boats, but I'll look forward to following your build. It is the diversity among us that makes this such a great forum. Jack
