Hi Ed, welcome to the forum. You probably ran into the session timeout problem which is that after an hour from logging in, your browser can't access the script to post a message unless you've had other activity. Several people have run into this, so I've increased session length to two hours to allow more time for posting and editing. Should help with longer posts.
Sorry your info got deleted, I often will copy the text of a long post before submitting just in case something goes wrong, like I lost my dial up connection while I was writing.
