Scrap Shelter: Welded Steel Home for the End of the World

When you own that piece of land that you return to occasionally. You may wish to construct an off grid dwelling. This is the place to discuss different construction methods, materials, and types. Think straw bale, earth ship, yurt, etc..

Oh yes, very cozy.

IDK about people who got a copy of Lightwave for Xmas and spend all their time accelerating idle doodling to that level. :screwy: :screwy: :screwy:

I really liked the floating island idea, would take some building but if you could put a small car or jeep option with a ramp to go on land when needed, man would get tired of fish 3 times a day.

I liked the floating island idea they had on the same site, not sure if I would want to stick around if you had to stay undergroung in the steel box, it would be like a big casket, but I guess someone needs to stick around to turn off the lights.
