very interesting build, lots of possibilities, that would be a fun project.i have a friend who has a metal quenson hut ,he use sprayfoam for insulation .steve

If you can get the grain bin for free or next to free and if it will dismantle and be reerected with little or no trouble it could be a neat way to have "shelter" for cheap.
I too would be interested in knowing how you plan to insulate the structure.
I would also be intrested in knowing how you plan to get it past the local building code enforcers as a living space. Those that are around here have a hard time thinking beyond what is the normal cracker jack box construction techniques and practices.

I think you have to do spray foam for at least an inch or two, if no other reason than to control the condensation.
Then, maybe frame it up and use fiberglass.
