I recently found that they are auctioning these things off by my house. Bids start at $150, and I thought..hmmm maybe... but are they even street legal?
I understand they're loud as hell. I saw a video on utube where a dude added a muffler and maybe changed the turbo, and it was quiet. I know you cant run them on kerosene or house fuel oil on the roads (don't get caught) But I wonder if you can even register them?

there are some licensing issues (commercial vs private, historic vehicle vs daily driver, license plates and insurance also..)

lots of them out there, however.. I have lots of pic's of Deuce RV's, but can't post them here as they are on my desk top..

Check out the Steel Soldiers forum for info..interesting characters but solid info..

also found a Yahoo Group dealing with Deuce Campers. His rig has a roof raising mechanism on it in the photo section..
