Griff, That link is so long that it is screwing up the scroll bar. Perhaps you can make it so that it is not so wide. If all you are looking for is the photos, then you can edit out that link altogether and just type in a few words about how you feel about Neoplan buses. I don't know if you will be able to delete your post, now that one has followed it. When you shorten your post, all of the posts will go to the proper size as well.
I have worked on the inside of a Neoplan before and will tell you that the first floor is only 5 feet tall. It is the second floor that you can stand up in.

Rudy, you'd be best off to get a better browser, the eBay address Griff posted wraps nicely on my screen and does not disrupt the page formatting.

WOW! Something's weird. I went to some topics on different forums Sharkey's site, and they are all OK. I don't know what's up with this one. Oh well, here are a bunch of pictures of that Neoplan bus.

Here is one of the bathroom. I worked on a Neoplan once. There were two of these factory built bathrooms on the first floor. As I mentioned earlier, the ceiling on the first floor was only five feet tall. There was a stairwell that went to the second floor. It was there that you could stand up. The photos of the interior were of the second floor.

A final note: I am not quite sure how they have this bus laid out, but I am presuming that of the two Neoplans I have seen, it is always the top floor that has the taller ceiling.

Rudy, thanks for posting pics. The interior of that thing is FUGLY!!! I guess no one would care if their main intent was to get drunk on cheap beer on the way to some sporting event or concert. Amazing that is has all that open glass on the upper deck and most of it is covered by overhead upholstery. That and it would be like traveling in a tin can without a front windshield on the top floor. Every other one of these I've seen had a nice observation deck up there so you could get a close-up look at traffic signals and overhead wires.

Sharkey, I agree about the industrial ugliness of the building of that bus. The article said that it took five years to bring it to that point. I could poop on a pile in the woods for that long and come up with the same results. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that they covered up the front window on the top floor. What a great place to look out of when traveling down the road.

I don't know why, but this thread is still way too wide. I did format my photos to fit. They are 640X480. It's not me.

Rudy, you almost blew my romantic yen for this diamond in the rough when you said it had a CAT engine! Heresy!! Then I realized you were spoofing us. The Las Vegas lounge lizard motif is a big turn off for me, but I am trying to visualize the bus in serene shades of different greens with lots of real wood and some white trim, sort of like an update Adirondack cabin. And starlite or vista dome-type window on the front to see out, I would get antsy without lots of windows to see out of.

It was hard for me to swallow the rather large asking price for the finished product. The fake Vegas atmosphere does zip for me!

This bus reminds me of the 2-story Pickwick sleeper coaches of the '30's, as seen in the book American Buses.

Been looking for images on the net of the Pickwicks ... have about a half dozen including models but none of the interiors ... I love the old busses, if you run across any interior layouts of the Pickwick I'd sure like to see them ...
