Except for the time I ran out of gas in the middle of an intersection in Boise, Id.. I was so stoned I forgot to leave some gas for the carburetor. I must have cranked for 10 minutes. Afraid the cops would show any minute. When she finally started I heard the roar of a crowd and looked up to see a crowd on each corner. I bowed and made a hasty retreat. Thats funny. What a way to quench a good buzz though.

Here is a pic of Jerry's drawing.

Thanks for fixing that pic, Mr Jones'n. I'll get that together one of these days.

Yes I built it, lived and traveled in it..
The '70s was an excellent time to be on the road. Everybody was there.

Did the loft part have a "bail out" door?

I had a dodge-lodge motorhome with a real similar cab. I really loved that old boat. Painted it camo also but don't have any pics. Used to spend weekends down on Zuma beach in it when I was young and single....
Yeah right, you call 6 to 10 people stuffed in the lodge SINGLE?....WHATEVER.

It's the same year as your Dodge-Lodge. It looks like a W-500 chassis.

Here is a 1963 W500 Power Wagon, with a factory roof raise. It sold on Ebay last week for $2325.

The last bus is a perfect example of the Superior commercial bus body with the extended headroom option.

These are easily identified by the row of fixed windows above the opening passenger windows.

I want what's behind it! I've been a Chevy gal for years!

I love the woods around you, I'm sure going to miss New England but I can definitely say that I miss seeing Mt. Rainier out my window just as much.

Hey Rudy,

My pal Tom has a '56 PW and when we were surfing, looking for stuff for his truck, we saw quite a few buses.

Rick didn't believe they existed until I found one in Google images.
