I don't know what kind of bus it is, But for three hundred dollars, it is worth buying. Where's Ontario?

Southen California. Close to me. I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out where I could store/work on it.

Mark, even if you have to get a tow truck to bring it to your place, it is still worth it. I guess you would need somewhere to park it, without neighbors complaining. If you have a place to park it, you can take your time to rebuild it. It seems like a long journey to rebuild it. If you are lucky, the engine can be fixed. Either way, it is a whole lot of work and time and money.
It certainly would be a labor of love. It is an old bus, and may not be a practical project. You could end up spending way more money on this project that you would by just buying a bus that works.
Still, for three hundred bucks, it would make a great spare room for guests. Fixing the interior would be the cheapest part of the restoration.

It might be a Gillig, the front windshield might slant back too much though.

Rudy..... I figured I could get a tow truck, wasn't too worried about that part. I don't have space at my home, but I might be able to work something out at work temporarily. We have a truck shop here where I might be able to recruit help getting her running, or repower. Then, I guess I would need to get a storage spot where I could work on the interior. A lot of them won't let you work on stuff like that, I'm told.

I just called, he sold it this morning. He said he didn't know what kind it was.
If you ever see a bus in this area that you want, try sending a deposit on paypal, then negotiate when you go see it, most people will hold an item
if they know you are coming to look at it.
Otherwise mi amigo's will buy it over the phone, then drag it straight to the scrap yard, they don't care about the condition it is in.

I guess I blew that one... That's what I get for not checking CL for a couple days.
Truthfully, I would love a bus like that, but at this moment, I am not prepared with place to store and work on it. Right now, I'm not real sure what I DO want, but I'm leaning toward a short skoolie. I'd like to build something more like a big class B or small class C motorhome. That's what I have room for and would be a good start to see if we think we could full time in a bus.
But for three hundred bucks..... Dang.
