Welcome to all the newly registered members of this website. In the past year, this site has grown tremendously. It is through everyone's involvement that we can grow this site to be the most comprehensive place to share and learn about what it takes to build and live in buses and truckhomes.
Obviously, this is an alternative lifestyle. There are many advantages, and there are the effects of having to deal with the idea that we bus dwellers are viewed as subversives by the common society.
Do NOT relinquish your idea of personal freedom. Do NOT buy into the idea that you MUST live by society's rules.
It is not easy to live in a vehicle, but it is very possible to make it work.
We here are willing to answer any questions you may have. We are a close knit family with goals of maintaining an "off the grid" existence. Please tell us of your ideas, and be sure to utilize the many suggestions that are presented on this site.
Also, PLEASE help this site by offering whatever you are able to do by sending Sharkey a contribution of funds. Sharkey works VERY hard to keep this site clean and free of bombardment from advertisements. It is a safe "bus family" place. There are many friends here. When you have been here a while, you will grow to love the people that are here.
Thanks for registering. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you new members. Rudy

OH YEAH! Will you please contribute some funny stories to A Funny Thing Happened... In these times, we all need some humor. Thanks.
