The Unit
Is a steel frame 30x30 box section with 75x50 floor fabricated by old school engineer, who was meticulous with his lines. This bolts to the chassis where previously the pump and tank sub-frame was as a firetruck. It is a simple process to remove the unit from the truck. Clad with 12mm Shadowclad (treated), under that the whole unit is wrapped with double sided reflective building paper (like emergency blanket) which keeps the moisture out, then eco batts, finally 18mm melteca panels make the inside lining. The main floor is Matai (insulated underneath) and all the trim is Rimu and Totara. The roof is Red Cedar Shingles on top of 12mm marine ply which has been sealed with epoxy and fibreglassed on the joins, then sealed again with a specific caravan roofing paint, twice! (it doesnt leak). All opening windows have built in fly screens (which also open) are aluminum and tinted. The bathroom and living area windows are emergency type opening.
On the drivers side there is an opening flap (as per pic) also on passenger side there is a fold down deck (not pictured) window folds up (like an awning).
