Robert Bentley is the all-time winner, every time, hands-down.

Haynes is OK, it has useful information, a close second.

Cylmer, Chiltons, save your money. They are useful for several applications, none of which involve auto repair. Good for firestarter, bird cage liner or propping up furniture with wobbly legs.

I have four versions of the Bentley manual for my VW Rabbits, a Haynes and that old chestnut, "How to keep your VW Rabbit Alive" by Richard Sealey. The Bentleys get used most frequently.

Be sure to check used book stores and Amazon, eBay, etc for used copies. I've never paid more than $15 for a Bentley manual, and have purchased brand-new copies still in the plastic wrap for $6 at a flea market. New they are more like $75-125 !!!
