More parking space at Lois' house!

Post by yugogypsy »

Lots of rhubarb, lots of strawberries.

Rudy-Sorry you don't like tomatoes much, your parking spot is by the tomato patch, and we do usually have lots of homegrown spuds.

Dennis, you want to make spaghetti, I've got lots of oregano, but don't do well with basil. Might be some fresh dill around too, and we have Jerusalem artichokes (Sunchokes)

For seafood the bay is 15 min away by car, time of year determines what you get. September is a good month to get tuna from California, frozen on the boat, and prawns or shrimp by the pound, broken prawns and shrimp by the bag.

Usually can get some crab around then too. Anything else, I'll barter my neighbor for-make a big smoked chicken one night or smoke some sausages for breakfast one day.
