Do these photos mean Chuck ♥ weenies? Or....Chuck is a weenie? Are you buying a hotdog joint? Please put Chicago style on the menu

Looks like a good building. Is that gonna be your new shop? It would make an awesome building for my nail salon.

Ok, I give up...tell us more Chuck :?:

Life is funny.

I posted these photos with no explanation on purpose, thinking Dburt or Alex will know exactly where these photos were taken... oh well, it's not the first time I was wrong.
This is one of the historical landmarks in my old stomping grounds. This one is located at 9039 Lindley Ave Northridge, CA 91325
The building you see in the background is north, it is at the corner of Lindley Ave and Nordhoff St. Cal State Northridge (CSUN) is just across the street on Nordhoff.

So that's why the place looked familiar! :) Looks like I might be a little overdrawn on my old memory bank!

Sorry Chuck, I'm not as familiar with the Northridge neighborhood. Last time I was in Northridge proper was for my Mom's graduation from Cal State Northridge in 1981 I think it was.

I don't remember Cupid's at all. But I do remember Der Weinerschnitzel and Loves BBQ Pit.

Last time I was in the general area was when I moved from my Mom's condo on Camellia Ave.(Sepulveda, bleh) 6 months before the Northridge quake.

We moved from the ranch house in 1971 and later we moved from California(Simi Valley) altogether in 1975.

While I could practically tell you where every leaf fell at the ranch house and every crack in the concrete was, I don't have the same level of detailed memory for any other place I've ever lived. The ranch house was where I developed my extreme love of knotty pine board. It paneled virtually the entire interior with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom. I could almost draw a blueprint of the floorplan I remember the house so well.

Still awaiting more pics of your Crown. :P

Even if I can't use much of the knowledge provided in this tread, I'm so glad for all the tips and tricks I get all the time - and just getting to know things from people that really appreciate what they are doing, and saving good old buses for future lives... That is so cool! Thank you all...! 8) :D
