That's right. It's time I show some of the work I used to do with solid surface materials.
I'll start with just one photo. I have many, so this may be a lengthy thread.
This photo is of a table that I incorporated LED rope lights into.

Way cool!! Is that a 'clear' strip around the edge where the light shows through? Or light white translucent??
Did it take special polishing?
I probably got about 400 questions about this, but will try to control myself.
Looks very good to me.

Dan, the middle strip is an opaque material. I used Blue LED rope light.
The material is formed with routers and sanders,(180 then 400 grit). Then it is polished with two types rouge. The material on this table is Avonite.

OK, Here is another one.
I did this countertop/windowsill combo to emulate a keyboard. The piece is lit with LED rope lights.
I had to fabricate a jig to router out the keyboard shapes.

Dammit Rudy, I was happy with rope lights along the base boards, so I would not trip in the middle of the night. Now you are going to have to show us how to do it, start posting I expect a full report on my laptop in the morning while I enjoy my coffee.

That is indeed the bus of Nelly. I never met the guy, but it sure is getting hot in here. I think I'll take off all my clothes.
