Engine change??

Post by ajsmedm »

Hi guys im a regular reader of all your posts but a unregular poster but this time i really need some help with a big problem..

See i have this bus , it's a rather old one with a blown engine, i really do like the bus itself so i decided to change the engine,

the problem is that the new one don't fit!

the brackets on the bus is way to small for the new engine and the main problem is that i kind of ordered the new engine from the internet and had it custom made from the factory and sent to me..

now i don't know what to do !? i might have ordered the wrong size engine!! help please!? anyone have any experience with sizing??

We need to know what your bus is, make, model year, standard or automatic trans. What the old engine is and what the new engine is. I see you are not in the US, there are lots of ways to swap US stuff, I may not be able to help, but someone might.

With a good welder, a decent cutting torch set, and some good metal stock on hand, you can fix or make just about anything. And you can make just about anything fit with a little work! Don't dispair- it can be done!

It might still be possible...
I'm afraid we will need to see a photo of your bus before we help plan the install.
