You gotta' admit this would be a little different start on a bushome!

At least you'd probably never meet yourself coming down the road

You are bidding on a 1956 Ford School Bus that was used in the famous Cochon de Lait Festival in Mansura, Louisiana in the 1960s and 70s., This Choo Choo is all original running gear with a 272 Engine and 4 speed trans with 2 speed rear end. All of the construction is 3/16 and 1/4 in steel plate. The bus weighs around 15 to 14 K pounds and is worth about 2K in scrap metal. Yes it does have air brakes, and has not been started or run since 1985. I am selling this item with a clear Louisiana title. I am also selling this unit with no warranty or gurantees, and it is local pickup only. I will help with shipping and loading. This is truly a piece of Louisiana history as many famous people have ridden in this bus over the years such as Honorable Edwin Edwards our most famous Governor, and my friend. This is a no reserve auction, and as you will note the starting bid is well under the salvage value of the bus. Good luck bidding and if you have any questions you may call me at 318-473-2184 after 6:30 PM. God Bless you and good luck bidding. Jim PS The bus does have a tow bar but I wouldn' t trust the old tires.
