Wow! a Cross Country. Wow! I always wondered where the six was coming from. Was it designed by Nash or by Kaiser. It is amazing that that engine is an artifact thats been handed down and is still sort of in production. Everybody always comments on how long the Chevy Small Block has lasted. Besides the Detroit Diesel, I wonder if the engine family in Mr. Sharkey's picture is the oldest living engine family?

DD is 1942 or 1939 to present, if you count the military use.
