Like Rudy those articles took me back to when I was a little guy.
We started camping with our '63 Rambler Classic sedan. In order to bring all of our stuff with us we had a car top carrier purchased at Sears. When not in use the framework would fold down making it easy to store.
From tent camping we graudated to an Apache Eagle just like the one in the article with the four tail lights.
That lasted only one summer before we graduated to a 16' non-self-contained travel trailer pulled behind our '64 Mercury Colony Park station wagon.
That to lasted only one summer before we graduated to a 21' self-contained Kit Companion travel trailer.
I now camp in a '78 Avion pulled by my '65 IHC Travelall.
It would seem I haven't graduated much from the days when I was little.
