I came up here to see a friend & he's getting a cold but we had a nice visit yesterday & hope to get together tomorrow night.
Weather is gorgeous, sun with wind but still pretty hot.
Was raining when I left home so came up in boots, had to go buy runners today cause my feets were too hot

Yup,
Tired, sniffly, sneezy, and very glad to be home. No response to texts to my pal though--he has asthma and if the cold went to his chest he may be in hospital, text last night said sick in bed.
I think it was too much,,,,,exertion in the heat, between work and his visit with me
and then working sick the next day.
Love is about sharing,even colds

Glad you got to follow through on your mini vacation with you friend....big bummer about the colds

I can't describe to any of you the emotional experience it was for me, to finally get to hug a guy I've known for 35 years and haven't hugged in 24 of those years.
I'd call it an extreme emotional "HIGH"
