Yes, this valley is a bowl and it does flood once in a while. In 1916 it was 10 feet deep. It wasted the whole area.
But in January it will be flooded with people. There will be 100's of thousands maybe over a million people here for the GIANT Gem and Mineral and RV shows.
More RV's than on can imagine in one place. We are leaving right after the first of Jan. for parts less populated.
