I have been wondering where people hang out when they aren't around here....

I just ran across what I think is a '39 or so Ford school bus over the weekend. SWMBO was not impressed but it looked reasonably intact. Gonna have to go back to it. The guy is very proud of his stuff but he has some cool old junk. There is an old Airfloat Navigator, a couple of Silver Streaks and probably 4 or 5 late 30's to mid 50's buses - most in serious trouble. Sadly.

I love the look of those old rounded pointy snouts.

Wow...just came across my own bus here! --- Thanks for the kind words guys. Almost seven years into it and still at it. I visit here often to keep up with master craftsman Ol' Trunt and his '35 Chevy Skoolie but have been mostly posting over on the Skoolie site. If interested, I update my Flickr Album every few days or so with pix, just no descriptions.

Great site here and some remarkable workmanship. Hope to see some of you folks out on the road someday soon.

Tango (Donald Tucker) passed away earlier this month after a long fight against lung cancer. He maintained an upbeat attitude right to the end. That along with his skills as a fabricator, artist and helpful nature made him a special person.
