My 'Motorhome' ..Rolling Thunder
Hello everyone. Just found this site from surfing around and very interesting it is too !
Just thought that you might want to see my motorhome ? It is built into a 42ft long x 16ft high double deck semi trailer. I have named it ''Rolling Thunder'' . Needs a fair bit of re-furbing at the moment, but I'll get there (eventually).
I'm in the U.K. btw.....
I'l post some pics for you...
That shows the size compared to my car !

Now....Standing in the lounge area, looking to the rear of the trailer,we can see on the left, the worktop unit ,(now gone) and on the right is a second staircase,up to the roof terrace....yes really ! I don't have any pics of 'up top' yet.....
At the back there, you can see the kitchen area. This obviously needs replacing.

Here you can see a closer view of the kitchen area. It's in a pretty bad state just now. The kitchen will not be in this position, when I've finished with it. On the right, you can just see the stairs from below. Also, you can see that I'm storing stuff that I've been collecting.....in this case a cast iron bath and suite !

Aaaand finally....... here you are looking up and out onto the roof terrace. This is the second set of stairs, to the roof, with the hatch open.
Sooo.....there we go. What do you think ? Lots of work to do and the configuration will be slightly different, when I've done with it,but I'll get there.....

That’s a great rig. Some times I feel badly for all those regular vinyl siding Mc Mansion people. The poor things But then again, we all have choices don’t we. They’ll just have to seek counseling. Oh, but they can’t because they have a huge f*cking mortgage to pay for and don’t have any dam money for counseling I pity the fools!
Can anyone tell im off today and im just a bit board
But that is a great rig

Thanks for the interest and comment, you guys. I'll be posting pics as and when I get 'new' sections done. Don't know how long it will take tho'....
Just as an aside,I've worked out that it is around 700 sq ft internal ! That's about as big as a small house.
Do you guys have any pics ?? Might give me some ideas/pointers ....

Was the trailer actually double deck when it was made? If so, I wonder what it was for hauling? Also, do you have something to haul it with?
Hi Dadeo.....
Yes,it was built as a double deck trailer. It was what we call a 'dry freight' van.....probably for carrying palletised goods. I don't have a tractor unit yet. I borrow one from a friend, when I need to move it . When it gets nearly completed, then I will buy my own tractor unit.
What sort of bus / motorhome do you have ?
