Kemps Mack Museum

Post by deltasonics »

Hi all,
So here is a link, http://www.rimworlds.com/thecrotchetyoldfan/?p=4389,
to an article about a man named Richard S. Kemp. I had the pleasure of selling my 1939 Autocar 10 wheel truck to him in 1976. Apparently he passed away in 2007. He left behind a collection of over sixty old trucks and crawler tractors. An auction has been scheduled for July 25, 2007 to liquidate his collection. Most of these vehicles are reported to be in running condition. I imagined many a lovely house built on various ones. Check out the images. My old Autocar is near the bottom of the group of images. It is a red "cab over" with a cement mixer rig that Mr. Kemps added. I googled "Kemps Mack Museum" to find this link and a link to the auction house handling the liquidation also came up.
