Here's a pricey one. It is made by Inova. It has an indestructible carbon composite body. It uses two AA batteries. It has a high flux LED and is very bright.

This is another Streamlight Tasklight model. It takes two AA batteries. It has an aluminum body and a Luxeon LED. It has three modes. Bright, dim, and flashing. By the way, the flashing mode is very disorienting if shone in the face of a would be assailant. It was expensive. All my Streamlight flashlights came from the tool truck. Like I said, I probably helped with his kid's college bill, or perhaps helped him buy his Corvette.

This one is called a Streamlight Jr. Luxeon. It is an aluminum case. It uses two AA batteries. It is very bright. It has the switch on the rear (which I like). No fancy options on this one.

Now, here's a cool thing. It is a pouch that contains two LED lights that clip on to the sides of your glasses, providing a hands off lighting system similar to (but of much lighter weight) than a head lamp. Inside the case are two small devices with a very good clamping system. They run off of watch type batteries. They are surprisingly bright LEDs. One for each. They last a surprisingly long time. They were mid priced.

Here's the one I keep on my key chain. It is made by Coast. It has a red LED. It seems to last forever, (given it's limited use). It is bright enough to see your car lock. Notice the unusual battery. I have one spare, but don't know where I'll find another one. It was mid priced. Also notice the military P90 can opener always handy on my key ring. They work well.

Here's a pair of nice items. I got them at a music store They are made to put on the music stand of people in the orchestra. They use three AAA batteries. They have one LED. They are fairly bright and last a really long time. They have a strong clip. They are called Mighty Bright. They were on the high end of mid range price.

This is another Coast LED Lenser. It is the V2 model Not only does it have the Lenser bulb, but it also has a focused lense in front of it. It uses three AAA batteries in the cradle. It is an aluminum body. It is compact and is very bright. It has the switch in the back. Yes, it was pricey.

Now, on to the three headlamp units that I have still. This one is a Coast LED Lenser series. I like it because the battery pack is on the back. That way, all the weight is not on the front, as on most headlamps. It makes a difference when you have to wear them for hours at a time. It has three LEDs and uses three AAA batteries. It is fairly bright and was expensive.

This next one is a Streamlight. Pretty bright. It uses three AAA batteries in a cradle. Even though it has the same amount of LEDs as my favorite 4AA flashlights, it is not as bright. It does last a long time though. Yes, expensive.

Although, this one was cheaper than the other two, it is my favorite of the headlamps. It is mid priced and can be gotten at auto parts stores. It uses three AAA batteries in the cradle. It has three options. A regular bulb on the top, one LED, or two red LEDs on the bottom.

Here's a small lantern that has two LEDs and uses three AA batteries. It is relatively cheap at Walmart. It lasts a long time. The cover in back slides down for 360 degree lighting or slides up for just lighting the front. It has a built in hook for hanging.

This is another light I keep in my truck. It plugs into the cigarette lighter socket. It has a very bright Halogen bulb on the big lense and a regular bulb on the small lense on the bottom of the unit. It was mid priced and I got it at the auto parts store.
