wow Rudy, I'm blown away...that's the same paint job I was thinking about doing on my bus almost exactly! I'm not kidding! I found it on a website that has miniature collector buses...vintage styles. I love it!

Here's a similar one in blues:

Ezra, I have a folder with 2500 bus photos. I have been collecting them for over a year.

I sure do like the way Bedfords look. Some of them are SO stylish works of art.

I think the new paint job will keep mine from looking like a shoe box.

I'm glad I can "paint" my bus in the computer.

Here are three pictures.

1. How the bus looks now.
2. The flashy red and white.
3. The smooth light and dark green. (my favorite so far)

Vote for your favorite. Make suggestions.

I am happy with the curvy design of the paint on the side.

4. AHA! The red stripe is needed.

Really nice, Rudy! I like the green, too. Green was my first choice for paint color for mine! But when I went to buy it, they didn't have it in stock in the kind of paint I needed to buy (the tractor/implement paint) so I just went ahead and bought black so I could at least get it covered before winter (which is why it's so plain) I thought I could figure out what color for the final coat this next spring when I want to actually finish it.

Here is one that I did for my bus last June very similar to the one you like!

I'll go through my folder of designs and maybe post a few for people to vote on for mine.

I forgot to mention it's the paint style I like and not the black and gray colors (its just they were easiest to edit with).

I like the red stripe a LOT! Not too crazy about the green though....maybe with blue? Red and blue look nice to me.

Hey Rudy,

I took a photo of a bus like yours. It was a Red Cross bus. I think they were having a blood drive or giving flu shots or something.
Maybe you will want to copy the paint job.

I will post a pic soon.

Rudy , if you have to have a red stripe on the green bus , (I like it green) try it at the curve line, and border the red with a thin black line.

better still , create a little art work on the dark green , that has the red in it ..

Thanks for everyone's responses. In a few days, I will reveal what I think is my favorite color scheme. It is red, black, and white.
