Hi there!May I say what an awesome site this is and that finding your electrical advice has REALLY made my day.I'm currently building a housetruck on a Bedford J2 and have found the electricals a bit of a hangup. I've saved your articles to read properly later but will definately be back for more.Cheers! from the South island of NewZealand.

Hi Stan.No I'm not a member of the gipsy fare circuit but they breeze through on a regular basis. They seem to make quite a reasonable living selling crafts etc. Looked over quite a few of their open homes for ideas and its good to see many are as slow as mine. Any easy fixes for a top speed of 65kph?(35 mph?)

65 kph? That's horrible!

What kind of engine has only that potential? Oh never mind, it's British... :D

Sorry mum! (My dad is English and my mother a Scot... )

I remember those Bedfords from when I was a kid in East Africa. So slow the matatus could pass them going uphill!

Sorry Rayzle, the best I can think of is an engine swap.
