Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Thanks for the reply SC. Doc says the little hole method won't work for me. It will be 3" cut, a temporary shunt and the use of a 2 millimeter "spoon" to scoop the junk out of the plugged vessel. The vessels will all get stiched back in place and I'll have a new conversation starter s...

Good to hear from you. Honeysuckle Rose is all topped off with diesel, oil is changed, water tank is full and waste water is empty. We are just waiting on a few health issues to clear up and we'll be out the door! The vascular surgeon will tell me tomorrow when I start a heavy duty ration of blood t...

Hello All! It's 1/2/26 and happy new year to all. We got rained out of our Christmas camp out so spent the holiday at home enjoying a fresh roasted chicken with all the fixins. We'll do a make-up camp out as soon as we can find a spot and the rain goes away. Hope to report back soon. Jack

Re: Helloooooo?
Good to hear from you again. We are still able to get out and camp every now and then and I still play with my cars but I've been slowed down some by various aches and pains. I guess as we approach our 90's that's to be expected. I check in here almost every day. Jack

Re: Coming to America
Glad you are getting settled in. I'm sure it will be a culture shock but really, for the most part we are a pretty good bunch---most of us anyway. I hope I get to meet you one day as I surely have enjoyed knowing you through Nomadicista. Jack

Re: Tiny house on a trailer
We're in the mid 60's day and night this time of the year so pretty nice. We hire our gardner to jerk out all the summer plants and follow up by setting out "winter" potted plants dug into the cleared area to keep it looking chearful. That's as close to winter as I want to get. I'm startin...

Re: Tiny house on a trailer
Hi Dennis and stealthy! Glad to see a couple of new postings and that you both are still keeping on keeping on. We still get out about once a month for a couple of days at a favorite local campground but now being entrenched in our 80's I'm not sure if we'll have any long distance trips. Take care, ...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Here's to many happy campouts in 2024! Our last campout was Christmas '23 at Camp Comfort. No rain but pretty chilly. Night time temps in the low 30's outside and 44 inside as wifey refuses to use the heater at night--burr. Not much in the way of pics but I rather like this one of all our "anim...

Hello All! Happy new year. We are still out and about in Honeysuckle Rose. We spent Christmas in a small campground called Camp Comfort --which it was. Jack
Here is a picture of all our "animal" friends and our Christmas tree.

Same back at ya! Like you we are hoping for a better year in 2024. March of 23 found me back under the care of old sawbones when my left wrist decided to pay dividends on a "healed" break from a work related bicycle accident almost 10 years ago. Three of the 7-8?- carpel bones in my left h...

oltruntoltrunt July 12 Hello all! A lot of water under the bridge. An old work injury as promised began to pay dividends. one of the carpel bones in my left wrist gave up the ghost leaving me with a painful and useless left hand, The old saw bones said he'd have to remove two adjacent bones and that...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
We were lucky enough to go camping for Christmas. Weather was perfect and the campground was nearly empty so about as good as it gets.
