Re: Battery Price
Have you got them configured to 48 volts?
If so, how are you using them? All through an inverter, or do you have 48 volt appliances?
This interests me since transmitting a higher voltage is a more efficient way of moving power through wire.

Re: Tapatalk
I had a look at Tapatalk, but quickly decided against it.
Basically to enable it, I would have to allow them to post third party advertising on the forum: This forum is an advertising free zone.

Re: Dometic refrigerator model RM2652?
I don't know much about absorption fridges, but do know that they do not like being off level at all. So that could be something to check first. Another thing I have heard, is that sometimes when not running, they can be turned upside down for a while, then after turn back upright, the gases sort th...

Re: Trailer Build
To clarify, the weight of the trailer is yet to be determined, depending on rebuilding decisions yet to be made. Over here the maximum legal weight for an unbraked trailer, on my tow vehicle, is 750kg. In some ways, I am surprised that the legal limit is lower over there, as most non commercial limi...

Re: Trailer Build
Hi Jack, The trailer bed is 8 foot by four foot. The total width is about 6 foot. At this stage my biggest concern is trying to keep the weight down in the front. The reason being, is that I plan on building a vee structure going four feet long by, starting at 6 feet wide, forward of the bed, to giv...

Trailer Build
I bought this trailer about five and a half years ago, with the intention of building a small light-weight camper on it. Then priorities changed. I am picking up the project again, and with the help of a friend am starting the process of rebuilding the trailer to use as the base for a light camper. ...

Re: Photo Hosting
Just out of curiosity - about how big a drive is that to host all the pics here? I know there are a LOT of pics around.... Thats a two or three part question. I have no idea about the actual space that the photos already here would take up, but it would be quite a lot. But even if we did have the c...

Re: Photo Hosting
Another option, which would probably be easier for most people would be something like a Hostgator.com site which cost about $7 - $10 per month. They take care of most of the security issues, and all of the Operating system issues. They also have one click installation for things like photo gallery ...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
I do, of course, have all my pics stored on my own computer as well as on pb so maybe there is a way to post from home??? Jack The biggest issue with this is that home internet connections typically have what is called dynamic ip addresses (ie they change), where as you need to have a static ip add...

Photo Hosting
With the demise of free webhosting on Photobucket, this forum and others around the web have found a large number of photos have disappeared. So the question is, where to from here for posting photos to the forums. The biggest issue is really about the amount of disk space that hosting photos for a ...
