Re: somewhereinUSA build

Yeah...me too. I am not totally sure what I am gonna do yet. Don't wanna spend money, but the free ones are doing the same - pushing to charge. First world problems....

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

SC. Travel trailer at 26 degrees? Thats gotta suck! "Geez...just looking at that...how old do ya have to be to stop talking about 'years' and start referring to 'decades'...?"  I've long since quit talking about decades--sometimes I question buying green bananas! Jack I bought ...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

SC, I'd rush on down to Sears and sawbucks and take them up on their offer before they close down--science be damned when there is something new for free! Jack I have seriously been thinking about it, but have used (used up!) a couple of newer tillers in the years since and this thing is a tank com...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

Hey SC, I'd be the first to admit I don't know what I'mm talking about when it comes to gas additives. I went with Sta-bil because it was available I guess. Of course I'll never know if it really works because I have marked my calendar with monthly start/run cycles thereby taking all the science ou...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

Hello All, busy at the typewriter. Well, I learned a lesson—but not without considerable pain to reinforce it. Gasoline really does go bad. A year ago I replaced the Yamaha ef3000iseb genny in my bus with a brand new model of the same ilk. Same rip snorting electron pushing device I had but with al...

Whew! That's obscure. No idea. If I had it I would try to use it for welding clamp - holding angle iron or flat stock. Or a bicycle tire bead breaker...

Re: Giving thanks

The terror nightmares are made of !! Cannot imagine how I would feel, but I do know how I would respond! One of the grandkids found a t-shirt and pointed it out to me that said, "If you mess with me, you better run for your life, cause my Grandpa is coming and Hell is coming with him!" I t...

Re: Dometic refrigerator model RM2652?

Do you smell ammonia? That would be a leak that would stop it. And level - those things seem to be really sensitive to that. I have been in rv park spaces where it "looked" and felt level enough, but fridge didn't work. And the obvious, "Doh..." moment - it is still plugged in to...

Re: 1955 Chevy 6700 Bus RV

Ouch!! Definitely the wrong shop for that work, but geez....how do you go about finding someone who can handle that stuff... Other than time to work on it, that is the biggest issue I have with my bus. I have a 1976 International and the IH shop in town won't touch it either. I have to do it myself ...

Re: Photo Hosting

Just out of curiosity - about how big a drive is that to host all the pics here? I know there are a LOT of pics around.... Thats a two or three part question. I have no idea about the actual space that the photos already here would take up, but it would be quite a lot. But even if we did have the c...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

Photobucket finally got around to me - they sent a note saying I could not use or do 3rd party hosting with the account. So, I was able to still see pics this morning, but now there is now doubt I have to get the pics changed over to another place. Smugmug still looks pretty good, so may just be goi...
