Rhino
As some of the members here know, I have started learning Rhino3D. I hope to be able to use it to draw bus and truck interior layouts when I become proficient with it. But in the mean time I thought I would share the results of one of the exercises that I have been doing. The background is a jpg photo of a piece of rosewood. the bottle and lighting were created entirely in Rhino.

Okay, this was done on a Mac version of Rhino, which is still in development, so doesn't yet have full functionality.
The idea here is an equilateral arch window. The square lower part could open outward as a normal house window of various types. The equilateral arch on top just makes for a more interesting shape, visually. The equilateral arch is also good structurally. In fact the discovery of the equilateral arch revolutionized the type of building that stone masons could build, hence all of the tall churches.
