Time for a real life funny thing happened.
Up in eastern Washington I decided to roll out my window awnings over the bedroom windows. I pulled it just a little and several bats fell out on the ground. They were kinda dazed in the sunlight but eventualy took off. I wanted to wait until dusk to roll it out more so they wouldnt be so shocked. I swear...21 bats came out of my small awning! About 8 of them fell to the ground..looking VERY dead. As it turns out they were just heavy sleepers...they woke up about 20 minutes later and flew off. Scared me at first...but it a lot better than hornets...they were on the other side.
