Corvair?

Post by Rudy »

I have seen a LOT of motorhomes, but I have never seen these until today. Here are some photos. This little Camper was made by Chevy, and was called the Corvair Ultravan. I am presuming that it had a Corvair engine in the back. Anybody know? I will try to get some interior photos as well.

These things are indeed powered by a Corvair engine in the rear. Here's the web site that I got most of these photos from. It's worth going to it and reading about these unusual motorhomes.

Steve, my dad had a 1961 Corvair car when I was young. It had a six cylinder motor and could go 95 miles per hour. I don't know if they also made 4 cylinder engines. Rudy
