Lord, Let me be as good as my dog thinks I am.
Lord, Let me be as good as my dog thinks I am.
Dogs are incredible. It doesn't matter if I've been gone for a days or just into the bathroom for 2 minutes...my dog greets me like I've been gone for weeks...with such love in her eyes and so affectionate. She is always lovable and consistent. There is never a bad moment between us. She makes me feel very loved, needed and extremely appreciated. If she was a human man, I'd marry her

Yeah it was a bit cloudy, which is why I thought it would work well in HDR. I did think the clouds would turn out more dramatic than they did though, but can't complain.rlaggren wrote:Very nice shot. Looks like you had a bit of weather coming through.
We had our first snow for the year last night.

Stuart, this photo is soooo beautiful! I can't stop looking at it...my eyes must be addicted to HDR photography Is this done while taking the photo or while editing it? So very, very pretty!
P.S. Hello everyone! Long time no blab. I've been away from computer for quite some time but home for a visit this week. I've been staying/working in Ontario, Canada at a fly-in fishing camp and will be there through September...then will move into my bus full-time when I come back. I've loved reading all your posts here and will participate much more once I return for good from Canada in September. I hope you're all doing well?

Re: Photography
The standard way off doing it is to take a minmum of three shots at different exposures, then overlay them and do some more trickery to get the final result.ezrablu wrote: HDR photography Is this done while taking the photo or while editing it?
The way I do it is to take one photo, then do some digital darkroom trickery with the RAW (.CR2) file to create a minimum of three different exposures. Much easier to line them all up acurately if they started as the same exact frame. Then I carry on with the overlaying and final trickery to get the finished photo.
Ezra, do you have any more up to date photo's of your bus? I see the last post on your blog was in March.

Hi Ezra
Glad to hear from you. Guess you're taking a little time off from working on your bus - looked like you've done a bunch of work on it. How's Canada? Sounds like you landed a nice gig for your vacation. <g>
