2 1985 Crown school buses sold on EbayMotors

Did anyone watch those two long 1985 twin rear axle model Crown school buses sell on EbayMotors? (They look just like the one Sharkey is working on.) They were sold by Washington State Surplus. One sold for $3,460 and one sold for $3,600. One had 270,000 miles and the other one had about 229,000 miles on it. Both had the mid-mount side-slant diesel engines.

There was a person who inquired about my 1983 Ward/IH bus that I have for sale on Craig's List and in his emails to me he complained that the older style Crown buses that Washington State Surplus is selling on EbayMotors are bringing waaaaay too much money, waaaay more then they are worth he claims. I hate to tell him, but they only bring what they ARE worth, which seems to be about $3,500! Maby he is just a cheap skate, or perhaps out of touch. Or maby he is a geezer like me! Maby all three of the above?

When they complain about the prices, of Crowns, tell them I paid $6,750 for a bus with 609,000 miles and significant body fatigue. Then tell them to STFU and leave you alone of they aren't buying.

I looked at them & drooled. Started one of them up--it purred.

They were too big for me to drive into my lot, and I didn't have the cash.

They were both in excellent condition. They sold at a bargin price.
