11th Anniversary

Post by Sharkey »

They say that time passes fast when you're having fun. I guess I'll have to try it some time and see.

Today, Sunday, February 19, 2006 is the 11th Anniversary of my purchase of the Crown. At the time, I had given myself a four year window to do the conversion. Looks like I was only off by seven years, not bad.

Roger Beck came by for a visit today and actually caught me working on the bus! I've decided that if nothing else is going on, I should be putting some time into the things that are necessary to move it to whatever new living situation I eventually fall into. While I could probably throw most of the stuff into shape enough to move the bus within a day or two, I'm concentrating on doing the work properly, there will be plenty of time to panic at the last minute before I need to be out of my property.

Anyhow, here's how it looked the next morning in 1995 after bringing it home:
