Night Owl Syndrome

Post by yugogypsy »

Hi Folks,
I went to bed at 10 this morn and only recently got up, but I got the heater lit, made some tea and have some water boiling to make more soup.

This will be the hamburger version, to which I'm adding a little can of corn and the chili powder to.

That will age in the fridge overnight while I finish off the last pot (Am I sounding like Rudy here? :) )

The last pot is having some leftover ham added to make it feed two for supper and has improved daily by aging nicely in the fridge.

Next soup will be Spam and something--haven't figured out which way I want to go with it.

I hope everyone is having a super day.

I got night owl syndrome, too....I'm kept up all night by a house full of 25 yr old bachelors who don't go to bed until 5 or 6am when I'm just getting up. It's cuttin in on my beauty rest and lord knows I need as much as I can get these days Image

Night owl syndrome...I have finnaly found a home! I have been a night owl since I was a small child..I liked school but HATED that it started in the morning! Now...being a musician and a pool player I have the double night owl curse. Today I got up at 1pm...I was woke up. We had to go to parker for checks...stopped in the casino for the $10 free slot play promotion and I made $25...only had to put in $1 of my own money...Rachelle made $10..so even after splurging on the buffet (theres food again....my kind of cooking!) we still came out ahead. I came home and took a nap...now it is 10pm...just had some espresso...and I plan on playing guitar until I dont want to anymore. No schedule is an awesome thing!

It sure doesn't work with my volunteer job, I SHOULD be there at 7:30 a.m. but never seem to manage to make it before 8, my head gets full of what I have to do and the night before I do not sleep.

Thank Heavens they have tea at the hall and I can drink all I want, resulting in being caffeined up for another night.

Works when I've got a story in my head to write or some knitting to finish, but not for work day
