Hi Dennis;
No worries on the spelling, you can always go back and edit the post if you find a mistake. I was actually looking at a spel checker program that installs on the forum to check posts before you submit them, but it doesn't work with Opera, so it wouldn't do me any good...
As for how to post pics, you simply click the button at the top of the 'Post a reply' page that says 'Img'. It inserts a tag that looks like this:
After that tag, you type in the address of the image that you want to show (it has to be hosted on a server somewhere), like this:
then you hit the 'Img*' button again and it inserts the closing tag:
The entire image string looks like:
to your browser, and like:
on the page.
If your image isn't hosted on a server yet, there are a variety of free services that provide hosting for images. I'll look some up if you're interested.

photo posting..
is there a possibility in the future that your forum will be able to accept photos from my desk top instead of having to have a web hosted site for photos that I'd like to post?

The new content management system (described here) has a file upload module, but I haven't installed it or even looked at what it is capable of doing yet. I want to first get all the content from this site migrated over and put the CMS into production before I try to get any more elaborate.
Also, I'm piggybacked on a corporate server, and I don't know for sure if all of the server permissions are set to make file upload a reality. Guess I'll know after I get started trying to make it work...
