Now some work pics. This fire truck is much heavier than it looks. I think it is mid 20's ALF. Notice the chain drive rear axle.

This is Jody's truck, the car is for some movie.

Dennis,
Jody's neighbor builds them into wild racers, usually they wind up on Barrett Jackson, the first one he sold there went for about 1.4 million. Now that inspired him to continue building them. He will only start with a rust bucket, the one on the trailer was to nice, so he sold it to someone that wanted to restore it back to a fire truck. People are always telling him about fire trucks for sale, many times they are too clean for him to modify, so he finds a good home for them.
Here is an example. The only dents on this one were caused when he went to pick it up. When he came outside after paying for it, some guy with a forklift was trying to push it toward the trailer. He almost popped the tire at the same time. He was just trying to help, but had no idea what he was doing. He sold this one as you see it.

Now when he finds a rust bucket, they soon look like this. This one is about 70-75% finished.

Those are Cleco fasteners holding the chain guards, not a part of the body.

Granny with her bus. She had just gotten it. It came from Idaho. She drove it back to Oregon. Now begins the conversion process.
