R.I.P. Ben Rosander

Got a call from Roger (Truckingturtle) this evening and among other things, he told me that he had heard that Ben Rosander, the proprietor of the RV-Bus Conversions website and author of Select and Convert Your Bus Into A Motorhome On A Shoestring had passesd away recently.

It's been a couple of years since I talked via email with Ben, and at that time he mentioned that he had a terminal illness and was trying to sell his website and book business. He told me that he wanted no sympathy for his condition and that he had accepted his diagnosis and would live out the rest of his life contented with his lot in life. Other than that, I didn't know much else about the situation.

Roger says that Ben did sell his web site and book business not long ago, and Ben had hoped that Roger would continue to transact with the new owners.

Ben's site was where I first read about "BruinGilda" and picked up a lot of my initial knowledge about bus conversions. My condolences to his family.
