Bigtime coolent leak found

Post by Dennis The Bus Dweller »

Well, I can't tell you all hoy glad I was to find thiss baby. A while ago I posted that I lost 10 gallons of coolent on the way home from dumping my waste tank but after putting a hundred bucks worth atifreeze and water I made it back to my parking lot safely. I hadn't checked it out until today but after dumping 2 gallons of coolent and 2 gallons of water then looking around with my trusty flash light I found this here baby. Im so glad it wasn't some huge thing

Like only discovering at the end of the day that there was a three inch rip on the back of my pants.

No wonder my butt was so cold!

But(t?) Rudy, it was only 3 inches! Could have been 6 or 7!
Gotta keep everything in context.

I currently have vacuum lines in my truck that are rotted and leaking badly on the way to the heater actuator. Keeps the internal temperature of the cab at about 60. Since outside has been chilly here (from 7 to about 40 low to high) on the days I have to work on it, I am just running cold. Yuck!

Yours is simpler, but more expensive than mine. Cost me $3.00 for the parts - just gotta get the on.

Yep, that's a good problem, if'n you gotta have one. Except for the lost coolant of course.
May all your troubles be small and short-lived.

and I bitched about paying I think it was $2.35 each each and bought a couple extra even, hope they had a 55gallon drum of vaseline at the front door, with that kind of price. well like I said before on the phone to just get in there and look it could be something miner, you were sure lucky this time, good news is always a sign of relief.
