I came up here to see a friend & he's getting a cold but we had a nice visit yesterday & hope to get together tomorrow night.
Weather is gorgeous, sun with wind but still pretty hot.
Was raining when I left home so came up in boots, had to go buy runners today cause my feets were too hot

Well, that's the way I remember ending every vacation - sick and worn out - and happy to be home! <g>

Yup,

Tired, sniffly, sneezy, and very glad to be home. No response to texts to my pal though--he has asthma and if the cold went to his chest he may be in hospital, text last night said sick in bed.

I think it was too much,,,,,exertion in the heat, between work and his visit with me and then working sick the next day.

Love is about sharing,even colds

I can't describe to any of you the emotional experience it was for me, to finally get to hug a guy I've known for 35 years and haven't hugged in 24 of those years.
I'd call it an extreme emotional "HIGH"

He I didn't, until he left after 2 brief hours .

Taking Vit. C for cold--will survive.
