Bus Living, Truck Living, Boat Living. You name it, if you live in a home that is capable of moving by itself, or have the desire to, then this is the place for you.
When you own that piece of land that you return to occasionally. You may wish to construct an off grid dwelling. This is the place to discuss different construction methods, materials, and types. Think straw bale, earth ship, yurt, etc..
very interesting build, lots of possibilities, that would be a fun project.i have a friend who has a metal quenson hut ,he use sprayfoam for insulation .steve
just because you ride the bus , it doesnt make you a bus person
the bus stopped and i got on and thats how it all began
If you can get the grain bin for free or next to free and if it will dismantle and be reerected with little or no trouble it could be a neat way to have "shelter" for cheap.
I too would be interested in knowing how you plan to insulate the structure.
I would also be intrested in knowing how you plan to get it past the local building code enforcers as a living space. Those that are around here have a hard time thinking beyond what is the normal cracker jack box construction techniques and practices.
dennis got your phone number ,tried calling you , i left a message , call if you want, if not thats cool, may have some idead on the grainhouse if you are serios about building one
