dodge bus photo location

there was a web site about 5-6 years ago with a mid 40's dodge bus conversion. it contained alot of beautiful woodwork, does anyone know how to get to this site today?? kevin in CT

Good question. The domain (dodgebus.com) is now owned by one of those sleazy domain holding companies in the Grand Cayman Islands.

Here's the last message I got from Dan, the owner of the site, back in January of 2005:

I have been on the road with the bus and did
not pay the hosting bill. I still have the name. I
hope to get it back up in a week or so. I did a lot of
work to it this summer. It is not the same bus. The
back 4 feet of the bus was cut off. I also got rid of
all of the wooden roof. The bus lost 1933 lbs.. Sorry
about the link. I will let you know when it is back
up.

A Google search for "dodgebus" turns up many links which look like they might be associated with Dan, apparently he is an active photographer. I did find one interior photo of the bus on Flickr, but being on dialup ISP, I have trouble simply cruising for bus images when there are multiple images on ten pages and multiple albums to investigate.

Maybe someone with a fast connection can reseach this a bit and post some specific links?
