Re: 1973 Blue Bird
The last day that the three man Amish crew was here they installed the last row of posts. There were six posts. They also installed the girders atop those posts.
Additionally, they installed eight diagonal braces using the cedars that Zac cut and hauled out of the woods with his golf cart.
Here are two photos of the last row of posts.

Two essential tools for this project. A chain saw and a sledge hammer.

A view of the last row of posts. Te gap between them and that hillside will be filled in with dirt. It is fantastic how the roof angle was calculated so that it conformed with the grade of the hill in which the hole was dug.

The last photos I have for now. At this time, the project has come to a close due to a lack of funds to continue.

Re: 1973 Blue Bird
I receive some pictures from Zac a few months ago. He got the sheathing on the roof. He also bought the rubber to go on top of that. I have the pics of the sheathing installed. I will ask him if he got the rubber on yet.
Those pics will be coming soon.
I now live 60 miles away so I haven't seen the latest progress nor do I have any pics of the inside. I'll have to go visit some day and get some more pics.
I will include the rest of my pics, and then I will switch gears back to focusing on my bus, and what I have been doing this past year.
Stay tuned.

Re: 1973 Blue Bird
I have been wondering how this whole project proceeded.
Seeing the finished project will be interesting.
I can hardly wait for the updates.
