Bus Living, Truck Living, Boat Living. You name it, if you live in a home that is capable of moving by itself, or have the desire to, then this is the place for you.
Coal gas is an unholy alliance of Hydrogen, Methane, Carbon Monoxide and Ethylene. Natural gas is just Methane (CH4). Coal gas is a manufactured product, normally derived from the "Cokeing" process for coal.
Mixed feelings about having a huge bladder on top of a bus filled with flammable gas. While it's nice to have a limitless fuel supply to use, it doesn't look like safety was updated from the original 19th century technology. I'm thinking Hindenburg with a dash of Richard Pryor.
According to a Wiki at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coal_oil , Coal oil is the name given to oil from "Oil Shale". Not a lot of info, but apparently you can use it to make Gasoline. I also found an article at http://news.mongabay.com/2006/0816-wsj.html which discusses turning Coal into Oil, which is really what *I* think of when someone says "Coal Oil".
Just can't get that image of a lump of coal in an orange juice squeezer out of my head.

To paraphrase Roy Scheider from the original "Jaws" movie:". . .yer gonna need a bigger juicer. . ."
