Cal City

Post by Jones'n4chrome »

I went to the desert on 12/30/09 to camp and ride dirt bikes. Two other friends and I caravaned out to meet more friends that were already out there. It was dark when we arrived so we set up quickly, made some dinner then sat around the campfire visiting. The next morning when I went outside to unload my bike I saw this. I like it!

Fellings.

It says "Fellings 1947 Hound" on the back.

Going up! I shot this one after the bus, about a minute too late.

My truck is the white one & 1972 Boler.

We rode to Randsburg ghost town for lunch, there was a bus with a VW on top, but I didn't take my camera. Lots of other cool stuff in that town also.

I like it too! Where were you? Out near Calico? Where I am parked in Quartzsite Az there is going to be a huge bus rally very soon. I believe there will be 400 cool busses here this year parked behind me. I will take lots of pictures when they arrive.

Bob, Please take many pictures. If you can't load them up to the forum, either post them to your website or send them to my email, and I will get them up. Remember, 640 by 480 is the size for the forum postings.

I didn't have a secure way to transport my camera, so I chose not to bring it, next time I will bring it for sure. There was a lot of interesting stuff there.

I was in the outskirts of California City, it's in the Mojave Desert.

Hi Rudy, I just watched a online news clip, there is about 5 feet of snow in NY and 3 more days of snow coming, they also said 4 people died in Tenn. due to the cold. Be careful when you go walk the dogs.

Chuck, thanks for your concern. There is no snow today. It will be coming tomorrow. I walk the dogs in a big field far away from traffic. Also, they are always on a leash.
